Pup ID Terms of Service

By ordering a Pup ID tag and activating your membership, you agree to be bound by these terms. This is a legal agreement between you and Pup ID (the “Active Recovery System”). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not activate the service.

• The Hardware: The Pup ID tag is provided to you at no cost (excluding shipping) as part of your initial order.
• The Service: Your subscription grants you access to the Active Recovery System, including the digital Pup Profile, Live Location Alerts, and the Digital Missing Poster tool.
• Continuity: To keep your dog’s recovery features active and maintain your Lifetime Warranty, your membership must remain in good standing.

• Auto-Renewal: Your membership is set to auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). You can cancel this membership at any time via your Member Dashboard.
• Payment Failure: If a payment fails, we will attempt to re-process the charge over the following days. To ensure your dog stays protected, your features will remain active during a 14-day Grace Period.
• Automatic Cancellation: If payment is not successfully received within 14 days of the initial failure, your membership will be automatically cancelled. At this point, your Lifetime Warranty will lapse and all digital recovery features will be deactivated.

• Not a GPS Tracker: You acknowledge that Pup ID is a QR-based “Active Recovery System.” It relies on a finder scanning the tag. It is not a real-time satellite GPS tracking device.
• Data Accuracy: You are responsible for keeping your contact details up to date. Pup ID is not responsible for failed reunions resulting from incorrect or outdated profile information.

While a swift reunion is always the goal, safety is our number one priority. Any action taken by a user or a “Finder” to care for or recover a lost dog is outside of Pup ID’s liability. We strongly advise that no one puts themselves or others in harm’s way when attempting to assist an animal.

Pup ID is a recovery aid. While we provide the best tools possible, we cannot guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned. Pup ID is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages occurring while a pet is wearing the tag or in relation to the use of the Pup ID system.

The design of the tag, the software interface, and the “Pup ID” brand are the sole property of Pup ID. Unauthorized reproduction of our hardware or software is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to modify the features of the Active Recovery System or adjust membership pricing. Any changes to subscription rates will be communicated to you via email at least 30 days in advance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of our service shall be settled within the jurisdiction of the Australian court system.
